Quit, But Dont Quit.

Quit, But Dont Quit.

You've heard it right?, you've been told it, you've probably even said (I know I have)

"Dont ever quit"

But what if what you're doing is not working, or it has served its purpose and it's time to move on to something new.

Dont get me wrong most people quit way too easy and are too impatient...

They get distracted by the next new thing that comes along and want that dopamine fix that they get from starting something new.

And they have absolutely no idea how much hard work and consistency is needed to get the desired results.

But...

Sometimes you have to know that if you've been doing something long enough and not getting results then

You might have to ask the question

Do you suck at it?

Or

Do you just hate doing it?

If you suck at it but you don't have the energy or focus to get better you're still gonna hate doing whats required.

If you just hate it, you wont do it long and probably need to do something different.

Something where you can get a little bit better every day and see some progress however small.

Fella's are happiest when making progress...

Progress comes from REPS.....

If someones better then you at something it could be talent or it could be they have just done more REPS then you.

They got up early when every one else was sleeping, they practiced hard while others were watching tele and are now reaping the rewards of those consistent REPS..

Making progress and enjoying it.

If you stop making progress you're more likely to give up.

Take Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.

Last year I walked into Matrix Jiu-jitsu in Javea because I couldn't find a boxing gym to spa at here, and I had never done anything remotely close to BJJ.

I am now addicted,

Not just to learning and studying under an amazing professor but by the depth needed of something that you know (just Like the body) you will never fully understand everything.

So make progress every day however small and if you don’t enjoy it be willing to "Quit But Don't Quit" and start something new.

If you want daily progress that you wont hate, and have it linked directly to improving your golf then go here.

The Biggest Problem Golfers (and everyone else) Face

The Biggest Problem Golfers (and everyone else) Face

One of the biggest problems golfers face is with their upper back..

Thats not where the pain is,

Thats not where they think the problem is (they think its their lower back or worse because they heard someone talk in their set up)

Nope....

It’s the UPPER back.

You see the upper back allows you to make a nice turn in the back swing, as well as turn to see out of the back window when reversing your car.

Its what can help you stop standing up or coming out of your posture in your downswing, and stop your lower back feeling tight when you’ve been driving for a long time.

A upper back that doesn't move correctly can be the reason a golfers elbows or wrists hurt after playing golf, and pain in the neck when you sleep funny.

And its a part of your body where when you get more range of motion it allows you to:

Move better in every day life,

Take major stress off the lower back (a big cause to golfers missing time off the golf course)

and it allows a golfer to stay more over the ball helping his impact and accuracy.

All you need to do is get a bit more movement in the upper back and you will see an increase in solid contact and that proper Thudddd sound when you nail the golf ball.

You know the sound I'm talking about.

that crisp hit that you don’t feel anything in your hands but you know its a proper shot and you just look up waiting to enjoy the shot.

So get some more movement in that upper back and go play, or run, or dance, or fight or… you get the point.

Dont over do it though.

You don’t want to put stress on the lower back (which most youtube exercises do).

No you need to keep the upper back moving whilst the lower back stays still.

Thats they key..

Its that simple..

Want golf performance therapy to help you in every day life and your golf swing

Then let me know.

Good Trolling

Some times the odd trolling is good,

I’m not talking about the 20 something hiding in his bedroom, throwing insults at someone for no reason (that just comes from insecurity)

I’m talking about trolling the establishment with backed up reasons of why things are wrong.

Take the golf industry, every new club that comes out is better than the last one,

Advances in technology, etc

And this stuff is all tested on machines so they can get reliable data.

But, you have to be FIT for that club to get the benefits touted in it.

But if you invested that £300 in lessons (and not random lessons when you playing shxt, do you think the stars of the World Cup will only have coaching when things ain’t going well)

And had those lessons regularly regardless of how you were playing, you’d be better off (unless of course you current clubs are dog shxt)

But that’s not what everyone’s doing so it’s a case of follow the follower.

Now take my side of the industry,

Every photo about golf fitness that you will see on sky, about one of the stars will show the golfer under a heavy squat or bench press, however….

This would scare the score card off of 95% of the golfers out there...

Where a simple plan of body weight stuff would change the average golfers results dramatically.

And proficient "rolling" changes everyone’s results

Nothing like a last minute goal is there,

Nothing like winning (or getting the equalizer) to rub out anything that comes before it.

You have that impending deadline (90 minutes) and the clock is ticking,

You keep the pressure on and BOOM the result,

The result that mattered

In the words of the man who invented furgie time

“Football, bloody hell”

Here’s the thing, you can actually leverage yourself with time constraints.. oh

You knew that already because, you like most fellas leave everything till the last minute

It’s where you get real production, when you go balls out on little sleep and pull off what might have seen (the day before) impossible.

We do this in our business all the time..

In our body not so much right?

In our body if it looks like we’re off target,

Or not gonna hit our goals, what happens?

You give up.

No last minute winners there.

Why is that?

Why can we do what seems impossible in work but In Our body, if it’s not perfect

Fxck it,

Give up, try the next new shiny thing or...

Start again on monday

Believe it or not this comes down to our thinking,

And there are ways to change that...

And I will run you through it at unbreakable

https://www.johnseton.com/unbreakable-experience

Unless of course you produce in your body like you do in you business then your probably cool,

Oh we also have expert golf coaching too

Which Numbers Lie

Would you play golf and not keep score,

How about not knowing the distance of the next shot,

Of even the par for the hole

Lets go one further...

How about not having the number (ie 7 iron) on the bottom of the club

Do you think you might struggle,

Or do you think that you would be making your outcome that LITTLE BIT HARDER.

You see the fact is........

"The Numbers Dont Lie"

The numbers have no emotion,

The numbers have no previous experience of success or failure,

No stories of why they can or cant.

the numbers just "are".

Having numbers, quantifiable, solid, hard data is hugely important, cos as I said earlier..

The numbers dont lie.

Then why do fellas that want to..

Cut,

Tone up,

Remove the beer belly,

Get back in shape

REFUSE to look at the numbers..

How many caliores did you eat yesterday?

How many of those calories gave you the right nutrition to fuel your body so you can produce more?

If you dont know any of this then just get a fitness app, most explain what you need to do.

Or, you could have the structure built for you, with the reasons why you might fail,

And how you can overcome those failures before they pop up.

For that you need the Unbreakable Golfers yardage book that you get at the unbreakable experience.

Also in the book you'll learn what EVERY calorie calculator does wrong and why it will get you good short term results BUT..

Make it that much more difficult in the long run

PS The reason fella's refuse to look at the numbers is because of the STORIES that are in your head, and on the day we show you how to change those stories
