Its Proper

Today is the first “proper” starting week
to the new year.

The day when people say “I’m ready now”

Or

“Last week was just my warm up”

And as of that there are people all over
the country starting the “proper” version
of their diet they’re on.

The big question is

Why didn’t they start last week?

Most people fail because of their mindset
about food than their skill set of picking
the right food

but thats another story.

Anyway at least they're making a start.

Golfers can be the same, saying they intend
to get their handicap down or

Invest in some lessons but will wait till
the summer,

When the "proper" golfing weather starts.

Only thing with that is they have just
wasted half a year,

Half a year of getting better,

Half are year of time and effort in
learning new skills

In the next couple of weeks I’ll be
releasing the date of the first Unbreakable
Golfers

https://www.johnseton.com/unbreakablegolfers

A 1 day session where I will be covering

everything that the body can hinder or help
in the golf swing,

Creating a pain free body,

How to add distance while at home,

Health and fitness,

The simple mindset tricks that will keep
you focused and calm during the round, over
the ball and when your Mrs is going hammer
and tongs at you

But the reason why this is like nothing
else

Golf pro James Skelton will work on every
change we make and apply it immediately to
your golf swing

Using his expertise to change you golfing
potential

Par To Lose

So I had the next round of my knock outs on
Wednesday and to say it was windy is an
understatement.

It was so windy I honestly thought I saw
Thor standing there with his big one

and his hammer

I had to add a few layers to weigh me down
or I could have ended up as a statistic.

The match started well when we both hit
shots that went as far as a wedge.

And it was neck and neck and all square on
the last when my opponent sank a 10 foot
birdie leaving me with a par to lose.

So I’m now out of all knock outs and was
close to getting my name on the board.

I could piss and moan but the fact is I
should have put a bit more practice in.

I could blame xmas for that but I CHOOSE to
spend time with the family and be a bit
lazy.

So this loss is on my head but I’m ok with
that.

But people do this all the time.

They blame others for their lack of
commitment.

Is there anything you lack commitment in
but blame time or other people for you lack
of results.

Results are all that matters.

That reminds me.....

How about a lot of cool sh*t stuffed into
one day that will cover how to better your
body in hours with the added bonus of a
plan to keep it that way

John “ahhhhhhhhhh” seton

PS I’ve got plenty of positives from my
match but the fact is

The result is all that matters

Until tomorrow

Skating Like Bambi

So on Saturday I ice skated for the first
time,

At 38 which is pretty f*cking sad
considering that it was my boys first time
at 6 and my daughters first time at 3.

And do you know what I didn’t stack it,

Hurt my ass,

Or lose my rag and try to two foot anyone.

Which for me is new,

My kids were better but a lack of nerves
can do that.

And I was nervous, especially when as soon
as we got on the mrs skated off with my
little girl and me and my boy were looking
at each other thinking,

What the f*ck do we do now.

But the fact is I’m better at it now than
before I put on the boots, which means
progress was made.

And that’s when any fellas are most happy

What YOU are making progress.

It’s why arsenal fans are rucking so much
cos we can’t see progress, but that is
another story.

So my question is where have you made
progress this week?

Where did you do something that you would
normally put off?

And if not what do you want this year and
what are you doing about it.

If it’s golf?

PS I did see some proper stacks that if I
was on the outside would have had me in
stitches.

But on the ice I was more worried about not
receiving stitches.

Have a top day

When You Take Over At Air Jump

So a pal of mine suggested that seeing as
we are now boring old farts that can’t go
out on New Year’s Eve, cos where all
surrounded by kids, that maybe we should
take all the kids to Air jump in Orpington.

This place is pretty cool and anywhere they
ask you to sign a waver sounds interesting.

However when you get 6 fellas from school
who are pushing 40 in that type of
environment you do slightly;

Step out of dad mode and into

School playground competitive mode.

One of my pals made his daughter fly
through the air as he jumped on a box off
the trampoline

And the injuries, the telling off from the
staff was obviously part of it.

One incident where my pals wouldn't let let
me out of a ball pit was a battle.

But the thing is fellas need to complete
and have a laugh.

That’s why we love golf so much right.

A chance to complete and have a laugh.

That’s why any small group training will
beat the sh*t out of individual training.

That’s what unbreakable Golfers is

Small groups improving by competing in a
new way

A different format then they’ve done before

https://www.johnseton.com/unbreakablegolfers

And I can tell you first hand that with the
GolfMob small group training is more
powerful than going it alone

John “don’t jump from there” seton

PS games make stuff fun,

If you are not gamifing your improvement in
life.

You are missing out
