So fella a film that I love and I
stopped recommending it to people

Because it's a marmite of a film

Is now on Netflix

The big lowboaski

In this film "the dude" (what everyone
calls him)

Is a simple man

All he wants to do is drink, smoke weed
and go bowling with his pals

And because that's what he does

He's a happy man

Then he gets caught up in a kidnaping
plot and he's life becomes a little
difficult

And the simple stuff in life

The stuff he loves

Is put on the back burner

Just a bit though as you'll see in the
PS

I still love this film

I think because when I first see it my
life was:

Out with the boys on Friday

Football Saturday

Golf Sunday

If no one f*cked with the program

I was a VERY happy man

If there was pattern interrupt

Course being closed or the sh*t
international break then

I was a angry prick.

I stoped recommending the film because
some people didn’t like it

What’s that about?

Dude that is FEAR OF CRITICISM and
everybody has it at some level

You may suffer from first tee nerves

Or the fear of getting hammered in match
play

Or starting something new and worrying
what people will say IF you fail

But the worst thing that can happen

People can take the p*ss then they
forget about it

Why?

They go back to fear themselves

Because they’re

“Worried what other people think of
them”

Crazy ain’t it

Fellas spend far too much time in their
own heads

A mentor of mine

A guy that is always to the point once
said

“Your head will f*ck you if you let it,
get sh*t out of you head and down on
paper”

Read that again cos that is no joke

When it’s on paper you can see how
stupid some thoughts are

Get it on paper and assess your thoughts

It will change your perspective

Before you go and smash the ball around
the golf course

Today we will sort your shoulders

With the same iron

press it up over your head (like a
weight lifter)

pull it behind your neck

do this 3 times just to get some
movement in the shoulder

Now just move it around your body to
open up the shoulder

Your are now warm

in a way where you dont look like a
fitness freak

or

Someone who take golf a little too
seriously

But you are now more prepared for the
first tee

But what does that mean for YOU.

The golfer who hits a couple of putts
and then off to the first tee

You dont want to look like Mr Motivator
on the first tee

Imagine doing lunges, press up and them
you shank the driver in the trees

What would follow would be massive p*ss
taking.

So how about a warm up that works and
looks "golf-ish"

A warm up you can do that and also talk
you playing partners.

A warm up "I do" before swinging a golf
club

But dude dont be a c*ck,

If you're in pain don't do this.

Place an iron across your shoulders

get into golf posture

take a small backswing

Hold the position and breathe normally.

DONT force it, just go as far as you can
and still be able to hold a conversation

Do this both sides twice

You've now just loosened your upper back

I'm Not A Selfish Pr….

So dude I've gone

As you read this I will be in the air

starving hungry as I've left my house at
2.30 am and not had my

Eggs and bacon

But

I wont leave you behind with nothing to
implement instantly to your day

Because tiny DAILY progress is the way
us busy fellas

can make HUGE progress and fit it around

Our families

and work

So tip 1

Getting your mind right

You can use this technique to prepare
for a when you might take some flack

In a meeting,

A golf match your about to play,

Or from the Mrs when you know things
might be,

little bit frosty in doors.

Maybe you'll be lucky if she's being
unreasonable and its just a BIT frosty.

Fxck, you might come home and open the
door to a blizzard and have to shoo the
penguins away.

Anyway let get back on point

The quickest way to get your mind right
is to think the opposite

I know you're thinking what the fxck are
you talking about?

but this is part of a whole system,

And I'm b*stard-izing for your benefit,

Yep just whatever the thought is ask the
opposite and then give 3 examples why
the opposite might be true

for an example lets take the something
we love and also drives us crazy

Nope not the Mrs

Golf

You've had a few practice swings and it
dont feel right

you're standing on the first tee and
self doubt is kicking in

"Im not gonna play well today" becomes
"I'm gonna play well because"

"My short games been good"

"I had a good kip last night"

"I'm a bandit"

Dude this is NOT positive thinking

It's just a different perspective

Your mind is always trying to convince
you that you're RIGHT

Thats it's job

Thats why its so difficult to argue with
the Mrs

If you get a different perspective

Everthing isn't set in stone

Did I Deserve It?

I won my 2nd match in a week

Too say it was deserved would be utter
horsesh*t

It was just timing

What I mean by that is my belters

My best shots

Came at the best posible moments

I was 2 up after 4 holes

And 3 down after 11

Read that again ^ ^ ^

That is 5 hole swing in 7 holes

Hardly GolfMob is it fella

by the 15th I was 1 up.

Hit a great shot out of the bunker on
the 12th

chipped close on 13

And put it within 5 yards on 14

And if im completely honest

I have no fxcking idea where those shots
come from,

He played better than me,

And it was a belter of a match

Just the shot out of the bunker gave me
confidence

If I'd gone 4 down with 6 to play it
would probably have been

"Curtains"

But the timing of that shot changed the
match,

And possibly BOTH our mindsets

If you think you cant be helped

Then you've probably tried things that
didn't work

AT THAT TIME

But now is a different time

If the time is right for you to step up
and see what your body is capable of
