Me And Mike Tyson



Sound's like bullshit I know fella.

But I met Iron Mike Tyson in Amsterdam in
September 2005.

It was an arsenal away trip, group stage,
champions league match

(When we use to be in it every year)

We were standing outside a bar on some steps
to the entrance when someone said

"Thats Mike Tyson"

looking up, walking down the street was none
other then Iron Mike himself

This was pre "The Hangover" and Post "biting
peoples ears"

He turned and walked up the steps and came
towards me.

Now I was obvioulsly FULL OF BOOZE at the
time

So as calm as you like, put my hand on his
shoulder and said

"Mike any chance of a phota"

His reply was

"Inside Man, Inside"

What proceded when he went in the bar was a
scrum and the only photo to get was of group
of people sourrnding 1 Fella

Within a couple of minuets he left

I don't soppose he was aware that the red
half of north london was hanging around a
quiet little bar that evening.

Or maybe he was a Gooner?

So there was

No photo,

no standing there with both our fists up,

Nothing

Just a missed opportunity of a photo with a
childhood hero of mine.

I could blame the dog shit phone of mine,

Or the fact that the photo could have been
done livley before he went into the bar.

But I imagine that hes not the type of person
that could be easily swayed.

And it could have been a frightening
conversation if he said

"Outside Man, Outside"

if you're the type of person thats easily
swayed then just buy the next new thing
advertised before the open.

You're Lazy



Fella someone said this to me once,

I'll be honest, my response was hardly calm.

You see I had a temper, dont we all.

Not now dude, got my shit together.

Its called meditation and it works but more
on that another day.

However, in March I attended mindset x

At this event you pull out a letter giving to
you

There all different and mine was

"You're Lazy"

Its suppose to trigger you.

You see a trigger is something that triggers
an emotion in you.

And emotions my friend dictate your ACTIONS.

You need to work on your triggers so you can
keep your composure when the shit his the fan

Great in business

But it works on the golf course too fella.

Just think of all the mind games that go on.

" You're laying up, I thought you had the
bollox to go for it"

" You bandit, How do you get away with that
handicap"

And one I used once that won a match I had no
right too

" That was you 7th par in a row, whats the
most you've ever had"

I won that match on the last hole.

If you can work on your triggers you can make
yourself tougher in ANY competition.

Dude, Time travel isn't currently posible

If it was I would go back and tell my younger
self to

"trim up those eyebrows fella, Trust me"

Anyway it seems that I have now been on
facebook a Year

And got a time hop photo

The thing is

I look better now than then

Now If I'd been on Facebook longer then I'm
pretty sure that wouldn't have been the case.

But the fact is it was that holiday photo
where everything changed.

Came back and I started getting business
coaching from a Mad Geordie dude.

He was roughly the same age, had two kids and
was running two businesses and in the best
shape of his life.

So I stopped fuckking around and starting
implementing all of the stuff I'd learnt over
the years and condensed it into a system
