I DO understand.. I “Get it”. I really do,

I've been there.

But it did disappoint me, Dude.

Not because they couldn't do it, but because

of the “story” they told to try and convince

me..

See, what they’re really saying is:

“I don’t value improving my body for golf”

The exercises take minutes A DAY to do (I

spend more time on the khazi with the costa

shits)

so I KNOW that excuse is total bullshit.

even if you ARE ‘too busy’ to do it..

**When does the pain STOP?**

When YOU can no longer swing a golf club?

When you cant put your socks on?

When your kids say “Daddy, you’re always in

pain”?

Lets get this part straight...

Making your body better

is the ONLY THING that will set you free from

the pain,

Making your body better

is the ONLY THING that will decide HOW MUCH

HARDER YOU CAN WORK THIS YEAR..

Making your body better

is the ONLY THING that will HELP YOU HIT the

ball further with every club.

Where's The Fun In That?



At a recent "standing in a circle hand job"
exhibition at excel,

I remembered that the construction of Excel
was my last employed job,

Just out of my time as an apprentice.

Working for a company called ABB.

A pal of mine "Forrester" had started his
own electrical company and he had 6 months
work

I't sounded like Fun,

So I went self employed,

The fellas I'd known for years couldn't
believe that anyone would give up a FULL
time job for what could only be 6 months
work.

And the job was in Guilford

and lets face it is a "James hunt" to get
to aint it.

I was told its easy for you as "you've only
got your cock to keep"

The fellas needed security but I thought
"wheres the fun in that"

And have been self employed for 17 years,
with certainly have more the "my cock to
keep".

Nothing like kids to make you graft

The thing is I didn't like being told what
to do, where to go and when.

Probably why we react the way we do
when the Mrs tells us the same,

And I like having the ability to tell people
to "Fuck Off"

Dont get it twisted fella its not that I
like telling people as I would rather help
them

BUT

If MY time isn't valuable to someone then it's
just wasting energy, and that's no good

For me

They say the client is always right,

If thats the case why does the client NEED
to see an expert

We get better at our job every day,

More efficient

We learn more

Yet we only chose golf as our plan to get
better at anything outside of work.

Your body is built to adapt to the demands
you put on it,

If you can bend and not break that is where
growth is.

So for me my main aim NOW is to tell my age
to fuck off.

And do it while working with the type of fellas  
Like us. 

I plan to be in the best shape of my life by
the time I turn 40 and do it by using my
GolfMob Programe

And while eating

Stake and chips

Pie mash

And kids birthday cake.

There's an easier way my man, and thats clean
eating.

Clean eating wins every time

But wheres the fun in that?

Single Leg Balance Test Stats

It's Stat Sunday

Titleist stats for TPI screen number 7

The Single leg balance Test.

Out of around 20,000 amateur golfers tested

Twice as many amateur golfers were unable to
balance on their Post Leg (left for a high
handed golfer)

For 0 - 5 seconds

Compared to the PGA Tour based on the golfers
tested ( around 100)

A lack of balance will make it harder for you
to hit the ball

TPI Screen 7… Single Leg Stance Test

Today is the Single Leg balance test

There are many outcomes for this one fella. 

But we will only focus on two times

1) Below 10 seconds

2) Above 15 seconds

With this test you are going to stand on one
leg, Bring the other leg up to 90 degrees,
close you eyes and count

You can wobble BUT any waving of the arms or
the sole of the foot moves position then

The test is over

In the SFMA we are looking for 10 second. Any
less than this you have a balance issue we
would won't to work on. 

However

A lot of balance issues are caused by
tightens and weakness is other muscles. 

But the biggest thing we are looking for are
a difference between the right and left
side. 

If you are 5 second on each I would be less
worried then if you were 15 seconds one side
and 5 seconds the other

And before you say "But I'm right footed" Do
you walk only on your right foot. 

I can't imagine you would get very far.

Unless you have a wooden leg, and eye patch
and say Ahhhhhhhh quite a lot. 

You walk with both feet equally fella. 

You spend the same time balanced on each leg
with each step. 

As for TPI

We are looking for 15 seconds

What can failing this test do to you for your
golf Sway,

Slide,

Hanging Back,

Loss of Posture,

Early Extension,

Reverse Spine Angle

I would say balance was import for golf. 

For life, don't get me started.. 

The reason why your calf, hips or even your
back is tight. 

Could be a balance issue. 

And regardless of weather you believe you
should stay over the ball or not I think we
can agree that the less your head moves it
SHOULD be easier to hit the ball.

Exceeding Expectations



I was recently reminded of something that
happend to me at primary school,

Seriously dude get your mind out of the
gutter,

My parents were asked to come to my school
for a chat,

My mum went as my dad had a very important
meeting in the pub,

Turns out I had scored lowest on the english
test (you didn't see that coming with my
spelling did you dude)

And Highest in Maths.

You see Castlecomb School in Mottingham
(motnum) had never seen anything like this,

So obviously I had cheated,

My Mum (a short tempered woman from
Bermondsey) made it clear that this was
bullshit.

And DEMANDED that the test be taken again.

And this time I got a better score.

My first Fxck you to authority and I wasn't
even 10.

I never "remembered the times table" like
everyone else BUT I could ADD, just in a
different way.

So their tracking of my progress wasn't a
clear indictor of my predicted results.

You see their perception of me completely
crowded their judgment.

But perception is where you make all YOUR
decisions.

You will react differently depending on your
perception of an event.

And worse still other peoples perceptions.

Next time you think you cant do something

Ask yourself why?

Is it truly your belief

Or is it,

Your thinking.

Before Roger Bannister the sub 4 minute
mile was IMPOSSIBLE

Now he's JUST the first guy to do it.

Pick something and say fxck you.

Remember if someone tells you

YOU can't do something

What they're actually saying is

THEY cant do it.
