The Drug Dealers Of Treatment

The Drug Dealers Of Treatment

One thing I’m noticing more and more is people supposedly needing treatment for injuries and issues that are being fleeced with weekly treatments and enjoying paying for it.

It’s like the drug dealers and drug takers of treatment.

I get asked my opinion on people having treatment for months on one issue and not seeing any results and I do have to wonder, who is to blame.

Is it the treatment guy or gal who has convinced the client that they need to come back every week, (sometimes twice a week) for months, with no real target, yardstick and with no improvement.

Or,

Is the client just addicted to the setup and they insist “it’s what they need”.

I’m results guy. (kind of in the frame of when Delboy said)

“I’ve always been an achiever Rodney. But, mind you, I’ve never achieved much, but I’ve always been in with a shout”.

For me there must be some target, Something we are working too. Otherwise, what’s the point.

If there is no progress, not even a small one, why even bother.

They’re those type of charlatans out there, who milk their clients, preying on their fears of needing the treatment to stay healthy, but at the same time they’re those type of clients that just need to feel like they are doing something about an issue, without actually doing anything.

Here is a little test, if:

The client is not being given anything to do, to progress away from the sessions (if it’s relevant to the program and safe to do so of course) then you could be being milked by a milkmaid.

But, if you’re being given advice, tasks, things to do that will improve your situation and you refuse to do it, and keep going back for more, then I suppose there are worst things to be addicted to and to spend money on.

If you're in the first camp, start asking questions and just see if you’ve been pigeonholed as a treatment meth-head or, you are currently being helped by Walter White.

If you’re in the second camp, you would be a terrible fit for any of what I have to offer.

Everything is set up to repel those types, they mess with results and could take the spot of someone who really wants to change.

If you think you’ve got the stuff to be focused on results, doing the work required and wanna know how to hold yourself accountable (Probably more important than anything else you can do).

Then maybe, you have the minerals needed.

It's not easy, but results only come from action.

For Golfers 50+ And Why It’s Currently FREE

For Golfers 50+ And Why It’s Currently FREE

In my twenties, I suffered from serious back trouble.

There wouldn't be a year or even 6 months that could go by without injury, time off work and more importantly, time off golf.

Then over years and years of study and action that is behind me. And out of that came Golf Performance Therapy.

Any back pain now comes from not exercising or fighting (Brazilian Jiu-jitsu).

Then with kids I hit the “fat dad” stage had to change everything up, and out of that came The GolfMob.

Realising I hated most of what I was doing, went through personal development programs (like Wake Up Warrior, etc) and out of that came Unbreakable Golfers.

All of these made my golf (and my life) better.

All of the above came about by trying to fix something in me that was broken. All those programs fix stuff but also prevent the same stuff appnin again, but...

People don’t do stuff for prevention. They never take action to prevent things, they only take action to fix things.

Then in a true “Captain Obvious” epiphany moment.

Why not build something that works, that golfers don't have to come in and have a treatment, don’t have to have the F.U attitude needed for something like the GolfMob and,

don’t need the commitment and an open mind to do some crazy and unconventional stuff, that might cause you to say W.T.F in Unbreakable Golfers.

And to build it for golfers over 50 only!

But, to do that we need data... We need to know how far we can go and how keen someone over 50 is to seriously better themselves, their body and their golf swing.

I know what it's like at 20, 30 and 40 cos I’ve been there.

That's why what we've set out is in the free format, myself and Golf Pro James Skelton both know what we have works for any age, any handicap, and we know the guys that get the best results are the ones that are the most committed. But, this is for golfers over 50 only..

Anyway, it won't be free for long,

So if you wanna know more go here

However, if you feel you need a big change in your body and could do with a kick in the ass then that my friend is here.

How to feel more energised without caffeine.

How to feel more energised without caffeine.

Let’s be 100% clear,

I love caffeine, and I think its existence is all-powerful and needed in all sorts of situations.

But,

You have to have a comedown from it and too much of it, will end up giving you the reverse effect and mess with your deep sleep causing you to wake up knackered.

You can give yourself more energy as soon as you get up by getting in the water ASAP.

Especially if you make water your priority, have a set amount to earn your coffee or tea.

Here’s the task.

Tomorrow morning before you have toast, tea, coffee or even check Facebook get some water in.

This is much more difficult then you think, as your mind in the morning will tell you

“I can’t do that” which is why it also has positive repercussions because you've just overcome an objection as soon as you wake up. (Which is powerful stuff)

A warning...........

If you’ve not done this before you will piss like a racehorse, however,...

You're not gonna be too far from a toilet if you're on lockdown are you.

One more thing,

If you can’t do this try it the next day, then the next, then the next until you do finally get this done.

Sometimes, consistency is to keep trying to do something as well as actually doing it.

And let’s face it, if you can’t do this first thing in the morning how would you ever be able to do all the other cool stuff which gets amazing results for your golf swing that we do in the online GolfMob.

And if you want to know more about that, the first step is here.

Stre-lax

Shut the doors, grab the remote, if you don't have a Netflix account get one now fella because, after a week inside, I can see two trends you will see over the course of the next few weeks.

1. You will be fed, see and jump between more fitness and business building content than you thought possible.

2. You will feed your self more and exercise less as you stroll through this unprecedented no man's land of uncertainty.

Old school marketers will tell you that the confused and overwhelmed mind doesn't buy and let's clarify that and say the confused mind doesn't take action.

I think there will be a two week (Xmas style) grace period where most people unplug from what they normally do and make plans with very few deadlines (self-imposed deadlines are what kicks you in the arris) and just stre-lax.

Stre-lax is when you are so overwhelmed with choices without any real consequences or planning that the stress causes you to do fxck all.

The “I’ve got so much to do that I need to have a sit down” mentality.

How do you get over this... I would say either be aware that this is gonna appen and just take some time off and not beat yourself up about it too much. Give yourself a starting time of when you will stop stre-laxing or................. you make plans now:

Pick a start date,

Decide what you want to achieve and write it down...

^ ^ ^ Read that again ^ ^ ^

Just writing it down will give you a different focus and more clarity with no awakening or study needed.

You currently have a chance to learn new skills, mindsets and habits that could help you for the rest of your life.

What I suggest you do next is take some time with no distractions, no social media, no news, no emails, no list of jobs that you would do if you could or what you will do now because you can and just......

Think about what you want to get out of this situation that everyone is in and...

Write it down...

You might find out that everything you’ve been doing all these years makes you unhappy and you may have an opportunity to do something that makes you happy when this is over.

And if it doesn’t end... There's always Netflix.

Septic "Middle" Peg

In the ‘Middle” of Friday I suggested you go and get your golf clubs from your locker just in case they close the golf courses and then later that day they were advised to be shut down.

It was more Septic Peg than any great insight (Septic Peg being the Brian Connerly character that predicts obvious things like “the winner will be a Man or a Womon”) and was based on the same situation appnin in Spain one week before.

It’s much easier predicting stuff when you've experienced it yourself.

For instance, I will never aim to hit it over the putting green on the first hole at Wentworth West course ever again.

No, not me my friend...

Experience lets you make better decisions.

Unless of course, you don’t learn from the mistakes you make and continue to repeat them by doing the same stuff over and over again.

Remember what Uncle Albert Einstein said about the definition of insanity.

“Insanity is being addicted to a game of golf and not being able to play it”

or something similar to that, I could look it up and find what he said but I ain’t had a coffee yet and lets face it if he didn't say it...

He bloody well should of..

Point is things are gonna change, new habits will be built, old habits will be broken, things we used to care about will be forgotten and things we've taken for granted will become important to us.

Want experience in how to build new habits while braking old ones, how to assess, correct your body and add distance to your irons when all this shit is over.

Then I have something that takes hard work, persistence, consistency and a FU attitude.

And you can do it on lockdown regardless of if you are in it now or KNOW it’s coming
