Is He Talking?

When you’re watching something on TV and
something isn’t quite right,

You not sure then the Mrs says,

“The lip sync is out”

And boom you’ve now had it, it’s all you
can see, and it’s all you a can concentrate
on,

Forget the story or what’s going on or even
who you recognize

All you can see is that bloody lip sync
out,

You pause it,

Stop it,

Reload it

And if it doesn’t go you can no longer
continue to watch anymore of it,

It would drive you crazy if you did,

So you turn everything off and start again

Its now completely fine but you’re still
not convinced so you focus constantly on
what you’re seeing,

Waiting to see if it’s out again.

That’s the ability of awareness and
distraction,

If you’re unaware something’s wrong, you’re
in complete ignorance and happy as Larry

But when you’re aware,

That focus can lead to distraction until
you know it’s fixed.

But don’t blame the awareness,

The problem was always there, surely you
don’t want to live in denial.

Finding what’s wrong is the path to
changing and getting better.

Ignoring the problem is like the person who
refuses to look at his bank account cos
he’s worried what he might see,

I know this cos this was me, but

The 4 Stages Of Learning

To learn any skill you have to go through
the 4 stages of learning to get to the
stage of “unconscious competence”

What is that?

It’s a state you get to when what you’re
doing no longer requires constant control,

And you’re actually doing it right,

So if you’ve got good at something

It comes down to unconscious competence,

This happens when you’re driving,

Not at any point do you need to think what
to do,

take the hand break off,

Put it in gear,

Drive the car,

Handbreak skids (or is that just me)

Point is you’ve reached a level where
you’ll do everything without conscious
thought,

And do it to achieve an end result.

But there are 4 stages

unconscious incompetence You are completely
unaware that you suck at something or that
a problem even exists.

Conscious incompetence You now know you
suck at it but don’t know how to fix it

Conscious competence You can do it but have
to concentrate on Feel or thinking about it

Unconscious competence You can now do it
without any major effort or thought process
and are on the path to mastery.

But you can’t get to stage 4 without
putting in the time and effort,

And working along the 4 stages of learning.

And YOU KNOW that you only get better by
DOING

You’ll get there much, much quicker if you
are shown the exact way to do it,

Build from the ground up and,

stop and fix the common mistakes that ALL
people make when getting where they need to
go.

The Power Of The Morning Session

Some people say breakfast is the most
important meal of the day.

Others, that fasting in the morning is more
powerful.

But without a doubt the most important
thing to do in the morning is

(No not that)

Is to have a system in place that
slingshots you into your day like a angry
birds

A powerful routine that gets you in a
positive position to pull off a Sheeeet
load and not be a reactive helmet.

There are 8 things I do every morning that
help me,

Get more done,

Get better results

Be a better fella for my family,

Stay on track for my targets daily

And pull more stuff off in 12 weeks than I
used to in 12 months

And at Unbreakable Golfers I’m gonna show

take this one SIMPLE thing and apply it

It’s not sexy but as uncle Albert Einstein
(the stein-master to his pals) once said

So In The morning, Your body may be rested
but it has done a lot of recovery while you
were asleep

And It is dehydrated as a stag on the
second night of his doo

So Just add water,

The biggest fear here is that you will need
a leak on your way to work,

If that’s the case build up, start with a
small cup and eventually get to a pint when
your bladder gets a bit younger

Do this before your morning tea or coffee.

That’s it if you don’t do this simple thing
tomorrow then you are someone who struggles
to keep yourself accountable.

The Fat & Financial Thermostat

There’s this theory

That the body has a set point,

A point where it considers a certain range
normal. And if it moves away from normal,
it will try its hardest to get back to its
normal state.

I’m not talking about your body temperature
but thinking of that in this way will help
the following make sense.

It’s more like a thermostat.

So in fitness it’s like a fat thermostat.
It works like this;

You’re a certain Weight say in your 20’s no
matter what you eat or drink you always
return to that same weight.

Then when you’re in your 30’s you have new
set weight (Heavier)

So if you lose weight at some point you
will put it back on,

If you go crazy at Xmas in January you get
to fall back to your set weight.

But I’ve recently heard this about income,
that people have a internal thermostat to
the amount of money they perceive
themselves to be able to earn

If you under earn your usual reddies you
will work harder to make it up

If you have a belter 6 months you might
slow down and still end up with the same
money.

In fitness the way to succeed is to get
yourself in to a position where you are
comfortable at the new weight

At the new set point.

Then you can go again,

This has happened to you in golf though
right, you have a belter of a front nine

23 points or something and some how you
give those shots back to the course and end
up with 36 points.

Its the perception of what you think you
are capable of,

If that’s the case you need to change the
way you see yourself and your potential on
the golf course,

In business

And fitness

The Gazelle And The Lion

You’re either chasing something or being
chased,

You’re either after new business or
fighting off those who are trying to take
yours,

You’re either getting better or slowly
getting worse,

The biggest motivators in the fitness
industry come from total transformation,

The ability to change who you are now to
either what you want to be or just a better
version of you.

But the reason why it’s hard for people to
stay there when they achieve their outcomes
is they hit

the maintenance stage.

The point where you just need to stay where
you are for a short while just long enough
to prepare and recover for the next,

Target......without slipping back into your
old ways and bad habits.

But nobody LIKES maintenance,

Nobody likes to pay the price it takes to
stay the same

No one is focused enough to keep stuff the
same, so you slowly get WORSE

And slowly justify it with the same stories
you used to tell yourself before,

The biggest motivator for a man is

“Working towards a worthy Target that
challenges you “

Not to be just treading water.

Those that tread water either starve or get
eaten

You’re either getting better or getting
worse it’s that simple.

let’s not starve or be eaten by a bigger
better rival,

Whatever you’re after start running after
it

make more money,

have more sex

play more golf.

Because when the sun comes up tomorrow you
better be running.
