Don’t I Feel Like The As*Hole

It’s 11.15 pm and the call from my 3 year
old is

“Daddy my belly hurts”

After being in there 5 times and I’ve had
all the usual things she try’s like

“My eye hurts”

“I’m coldy”

“It’s scary in here”

I decided she’s playing games

The Mrs gets up with her and then my
daughter is sick

And continues to be sick every 15 - 25
minuets for the next 7 hours

So now I feel like a massive as*hole

I even nearly said to my wife when she got
up

“She’s just playing games”

Cos I was convinced at that point it was
true

So my question is

What are you certain about that you could
actually be wrong?

What have you convinced yourself of that
it’s holding back your progress?

What is the story that you are so convinced
about that you won’t even entertain a
different possibility?

But more importantly

What if you were wrong?

What could be possible for you in your body
and your golf if the story you are telling
was not true?

Next year I’m gonna show you what’s
possible,

And why a lot of the stuff you think has
absolutely no evidence other then the story
you are telling yourself

And how that story probably isn’t true

Just Cos You’re Paranoid Doesn’t Mean They're Not Out To Get You

Now I know I should be telling you about
seeing Star Wars Yesterday

But the fact is I’m off to the accountants
this morning to lay out my master plan and
see what’s possible in 2018

And it reminds me of the following statement

“Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean
they’re not out to get you”

I’m not a paranoid person,

And blindly think everything’s ok and
fixable

But what I love about that statement is it
takes someone’s potential fear and shows
them how they could be right

A lot changed for me when I decided to stop
blaming everything else,

My business,

Property prices,

Chasing non paying clients,

Then someone told me

“You are 100% responsible for the sh*t you
find yourself in. But then that means you
can get yourself out of it"

You see whatever YOUR current issue is.

You made it,

It doesn't matter if its the way you eat,

How you practice,

How you spend your money,

Your curent relationships

All of it is down to you.

But that means YOU can change it.

You have the ability to get yourself out of
the hole.

The first thing is to make a decision to
change

To get better,

And that starts with taking responsibility
and stepping up and doing whats needed.

First change the stories YOU tell yourself.
That could be changing one sentence from

"I cant"

To

"How can I"

The first one closes the door the second
opens up possibility

Next year we will take 4 men and in one day
change the way they see themselves and how
they see whats possible for them

When we launch, you better be ready

Perfectly On Time

Late today, I could blame the weather

Staff,

the Mrs but the fact is I was under prepared

So time to work on those triggers,

And if you dont get them out they build up
like a volcano a BOOM

People better stay out of your way

This comes from "the Work" by Byron Katie.

In Wake Up Warrior its called the Warrior
stack and is much more advanced

You've written the things that have pissed
you off

You now have something to work on

So take that statment whatever it is

Write it down and then ask these questions

1) IS IT TRUE ?

If you're pissed off the answer will be yes,
if it is ask the next question

2) Can you know with 100% certainty that,
the statement is true?

If you can create any doubt then we can
start to look from a different perspective

3) what happens and how do you reacted when
you believe the statement to be true (LIST)

4) Who would you be, how would you act if
the original statment didn't exist (LIST)

5) Can you see any benefit of dropping the
origanal statement.

Now dude, theres a whole lot more to this
but the point is

If you can get a little bit of doubt about
your triggers they begin to have less power
over you

Meaning less anger, distraction and
Destruction

With more Power and energy

She Knew & Never Told Me

We took the kids to Cinderella Sunday,

I remember months ago the Mrs telling me
about the tickets

And when it was,

But at the time I was unaware I was going
too.

We get there, get in the seats and we are
right at the front,

I didn’t take much notice as I come in,

So I was surprised to see Louie Spence in the
show,

For years I couldn’t stand this fella,

My wife knew and said nothing as he came
bouncing across the stage

She just looked at me and laughed as I
muttered

“For fxck sake”

The thing is, he didn’t trigger me

Not once during the show

There was a time when I would see this fella
and have to change the channel

So I now no longer get triggered watching
this fella mince about

I don’t know why but if I had to guess I
imagine that I have worked on a previous
trigger

If you see something someone dose and it
pisses you off,

Winds you up,

Makes you shake your head

And this is all done NEEDLESSLY

Then it’s a trigger we NEED to work on.

If you’re not sure what I mean by needlessly
it’s the second of these two examples

Someone walks up to you and kicks you in the
bollocks

Getting pissed off at can’t be called
needlessly

Hearing someone smacking there lips while
they eat

And you want to hold them down and fill there
mouth with expanding foam

Then that my friend is a trigger,

Something that is needlessly draining your
energy and your concentration

And losing those two things will effect your
production and power

And can cause you to be an unhappy prick

So how do you fix this

Simple

It’s so simple you won’t do it but I’ll tell
you anyway

For a few days write down every needless
thing that triggers you

Everything that winds you up BUT doesn’t
necessarily wind up those around you

Do that and we will cover what to do next
tomorrow

PS why does any of this matter?

If you lose concentration you can lose
control and the ability to produce

And being able to produce is how we get
better at ANYTHING
