Why The Golf Mob Works

It's a simple answer to a simple question.

I would like to say it's cos I'm fxcking
awesome but that would not be the reason why
the GolfMob works.

It's true by the way, just not the reason.

I would like to say I've designed something
that is brand new.

However everything in the GolfMob is a blend
of the stuff I have learned from;

The Titleist Performance Institute

Jason Glass next level

Paul mort

Primal movement chains

Functional movement systems

Body type nutrition

The Reason WHY it works so well is I built it
for myself.

A married dad with two kids,

trying to run two business with very little
time available to get lean and hit the golf
ball further.

I wanted a plan that fitted in with my life
style.

A system that would empower me to BE more and
not just have more to do.

I wanted to do it AFTER I put the kids to
bed.

I wanted to not have to restrict what I could
and couldn't eat so that I could go to
legoland and eat a shitty tasteless burger.

And I wanted to have more energy so that I
could sprint when the kids were on their
scooters.

I also wanted do to something that was like a
game, that was fun. A game I could keep score
and see if I was winning.

So I invested in the above programs and after
7 years of study, courses, endless seminars
and webinars it was ready.

The average age currently in the mob is 39
years old.

Im 38 this week. I work with guys like me
that want the same results as me.

So if you're a dad

That has limited time

What's to hit the ball further

Lose the belly

Be stronger

Have a shed load more energy

And have confidence you haven't had in years.

And get more ACTION.

Tick Tock 

Lethal Weapon

I'm not talking about the piece of kit
between a fella's legs.

No dude I'm talking about the 90's film
series.

In particular Lethal Weapon 4

I watched it again recently.

Guns, car chases and fellas taking the piss
and laughing.

Which lets be honest are quality times.

Like when you're on a stag do and the DAYTIME is
the funniest part.

Anyway the film series is based around one
cop being "too old for this shit"

In the 4th film the other cop is feeling "Too
old for this shit"

The plan is to "will" it not to happen, "I'm
not too old for this shit".

Which is cool

If you BELIEVE it.

However if you are just "Telling" yourself it
and "Thinking" the opposite at some point out
comes self sabotage.

One fuck up and thats it. Back to the drawing
board and time to start again.

Time for a new plan, a new diet, a new
driver.

I actually do need a new driver myself but
thats a different story.

What if you could change your thoughts?

Think of a Golf Hole that you used to have
particular trouble on.

Then one day you put that hole to bed and
then that hole is now no longer the problem.

You were shown a different way. A different
outcome led to a different mindset.

You can always "will" yourself to be better
but until you have a RESULT to measure and
take confidence from, you will just have to
rely on willpower.

And willpower runs out fella, thats why it
needs to become a habit. Before it becomes
stressful.

Stress can be a fucker, and it messes with a
lot of stuff.

What you eat, how you sleep, how distracted
you are and everyone will tell you to reduce
stress.

But what if you could just become better at
DEALING with stress.

What if you were not so fucking exhausted all
the time. I guarantee you would be able to
get more done.

Why? Cos that was me.

Too tired to grow my business,

Too tired to do anything when I get in from
work.

Too tired to train. Fella, training was the last
thing I wanted to do.

But now, I need to know when to slow the fuck
down.

Your body will tell you, you just have to
listen to it.

Morning Release

We took the kids to Dimchurch yesterday.

On the New Romney railway.

Obviously I didn't realise they had a special
event on.

Which would have involved checking the
Internet for 2 seconds.

After a cool fun day at the windy beach we made
our way back to the station to get our train
back to New Romney.

We left with plenty of time cos "don't want to
miss the train"

It was nice to find out it was running "about
an hour late"

Now I could of lost my shit

However the sun
was out, the kids were happy and all it meant
was that we would be home a lot later.

I got a cup of coffee from the station,

If you can call it coffee.

Not sure if the uncle Albert looking fella
actually put any coffee in the cup or just
threatened the cup with a tea spoon with coffee
on it.

Friendly guy but if there was ever a competition
of how to fuck up a cup of coffee

This fella would get the gold medal. 

Milk in first? Now it's not this dude's fault.

He's probably never been shown HOW to
do it properly. 

He was probably doing his best which is all
ANYONE can ever do. 

It just happened that his best in this instant
was dog shit. 

So all I did was just used the extra waiting time to
relax in the sun and be with the kids.

And drink my milky water.

Here's the thing, there was a time when this
would have triggered the shit out of me.

Pissing and moaning, and be a dick,
"fuck sake this is bollocks"

I'm a much calmer dad now.

And a better role model for my kids.

Cos I look after myself and I have a
release.

Not with my hands dude,

A physical one based on my goals

And a mental one using stuff taught to me at
mindset X

I will let you know some of it tomorrow. 

And I will be implementing it in next weeks mob

S Posture

Following on from yesterdays TPI Screen.

I thought that I would throw some Titleist stats at you.

TPI Screen number 1 Pelvic tilt test.

Out of around 20,000 amateur golfers tested

Only 61% of golfers set up with a neutral pelvic tilt

31% of golfers set up with EXCESSIVE anterior pelvic tilt ( S Posture) 

With 8 % of golfers set up with EXCESSIVE Posterior pelvic tilt

The two BIGGEST causes for lower back pain in golf is:

S Posture and

Reverse spine

But Reverse spine can be caused by S posture. 

The same stats for the PGA Tour based on the golfers tested ( around 100) 

88% of Tour golfers set up with a neutral pelvic tilt

Get screened like the pros

Correct it

And stop that BACK PAIN

The Pelvic Tilt Test

So this is what I thought I would do fella

Once a week

I will teach you the concepts of each TPI screen

So you can understand why this stuff helps.

Today It's The Pelvic Tilt Test

This is the one that looks like you're humping air


This is the ability to arch and flatten your back in golf Posture.

3 outcomes

1) you can do it and think whats the big deal dickhead

2) You can do it but your core shakes.

3) You can't do it and think Am I doing this right ( nope you're not )

Guess what

If the answer is number 2 or 3

And you can't hump the air while your just standing in your golf posture


You won't do it in your golf swing dude.

Dose that matter?

Lets see

EVERY PGA PRO sets up with some degrees of anterior pelvic tilt ( pelvis tilting forward)

The number unimportant

I will say that again

The number is unimportant

The fact that Every player sets up in anterior tilt IS

At IMPACT     NO anterior pelvic tilt (Flatting of the back)

If you can't do this test you ARE losing distance

Common carry over to the golf swing

If you can't pelvic tilt you may do the following in your golf swing

1) Start with to much lower back tilt, like Donald duck playing golf (BACK PAIN)

2) You can Early extend - move to close to the ball at impact

3) Or reverse Spine ( MAJOR MOTHER FXCKING BACK PAIN ).

If you reverse spine the data says that it is just a case of WHEN not if you'll have back pain.
